Welcome to Venice Fishing Lodge, offering a true southern fish and stay experience.
Our two-story, 6,400 square foot home away from home for fishermen from all over the world. Located on 6 acres, the lodge consists of eight individual bedrooms and sleeps a total of 20+ guests. Perfect for groups, families, retreats and corporate functions! The lodge has a commercial grade kitchen, washer and dryer, entertainment and conference rooms, a fax machine, computer, printer, high-speed internet and plenty more of essentials to make your stay at Venice Fishing Lodge a trip of a lifetime. Did we mention the food? Our full-time Chef Casey offers out-of-this-world meals, and it's all part of the package when you stay at Venice Fishing Lodge. Fish, eat, relax and then do it all over again the next day. That's our promise to you.
With eight captains full-time Captains available on a daily basis you will fish with some of the most experienced and personable guides on the Gulf Coast of the United States. All of our guides are United States Coast Guard Certified Captains, Louisiana Certified Guides, trained in CPR, First Aide and Insured. Our goal is to make all efforts, within reason, to provide a fun, safe and an unforgettable experience for our clients, so our clients will want to come back to Venice Fishing Lodge for all of their fishing trips!
Venice Fishing Lodge is located in Venice, Louisiana in the Mississippi River Delta and the vast marshes in the Southeast portion of the state of Louisiana. Venice is located approximately one hour South East of New Orleans. Venice, Louisiana has been voted by ESPN as the Sport Fishing Capital of the United States. Venice is the last town accessible by land along the Mississippi River and is square in the middle of the richest fishing grounds in North America. The Venice area offers World Class light inshore tackle fishing for speckled trout, redfish, and flounder. Offshore fishing in Venice is world class and in less than 6 miles from the mouth of the Mississippi you have 400 feet of water. Venice is a year round fishery that allows the angler the opportunity to catch trophy speckled trout, sight cast for redfish in the marsh ponds, the opportunity to catch bull reds on light tackle, flounder, tarpon and world class off-shore action.
